Some students of the federal government girls college in Abuloma, a suburb of Port Harcourt have made it known that they will be protesting the wide presence of partial judges at debates between federal government schools. The student who first contacted SR about these allegations was very adamant that despite addressing the judges/jurors as “impartial judges” her school did not win many debates as expected. This led her to believe that there must be some partial judges in the system and she plans to lead her fellow students on nation wide protests to combat this. One student by the name of Scholastica Fineface went as far as to say that she is willing to support “the motion that there is a presence of partial judges” all over Nigerian debates. We will keep our readers posted about further developments.
