Prominent Nigerian real estate developer, Professor Paradisiaca Musa has weighed in on the news that Banana Island was invaded by banana seeking monkeys, leading residents to go on self imposed lockdown. The professor who has never been shy about her opinions or views, told Sataya reporters that she knew the day would come when monkeys would overrun the island. She went on further to say that she actually predicted it but people laughed at her. In 2010, exactly tend years ago he had alerted the then Lagos state government, about the danger of trained monkeys invading the island sometime in 2020 but no one took the warning serious. Yet the professor is not sitting by the side and saying “I told you so”. Instead she is willing and able to help her fellow country men and women in this time of darkness. She recommended changing the name to cassava island as to ward off monkeys since monkeys don’t like cassava, even though they drink garri.
