There is a strong push by both Canadian and Nigerian online citizens (those who are citizens of any country they like only online), to make the next minister of justice in Nigeria a candidate from Canada. There is strong support for this movement given the recent appointment of a Nigerian born justice minister in Canada. Many believe that since he/she will be Canadian, there is little chance of any outside influence affecting the process. We hope this happens as it will be good for both countries.
