If the minister of information and culture, Lai Mohammed has his way, the popular Nigerian show Big Brother Naija will be cancelled. The minister has recently expressed his opinion about wanting the show cancelled for several reasons. Some of the reasons he wants the show cancelled wants the show cancelled are as follows: 1. the show gives a false impression that there’s 24 hour power in Nigeria. 2. Don Jazzy watches the show. 3. The camera man is over worked. Even when the house guests are sleeping, the camera man stays awake filming. 4. Because 2Face is supporting KiddWayo. They allowed KiddWayo to enter the house while refusing WizKidd Dayo. 5. The show is sponsored by Dino Melaye. And most importantly the show is a distraction, and sort of a getaway from the harsh realities of life for the Nigerian youth. Those who agree with him say that the big GSM networks are taking advantage of the viewership since people have to subscribe to cable networks as well as data. Prominent Nigerian Biker and musician Mr. Charlie Boy Oputa has a different opinion but wont say what it is. We have reporters sleeping at his gate rund the clock to get that opinion out of him.
