The acting NDDC MD, one Professor Kemebradikumo Pondei gave the performance of a lifetime last week as he showed Nigerians and the world his craft. Many people did not know that the professor is an actor by trade and has been secretly featured in many Nollywood, Bollywood and Hollywood movies. An actress who has had the honor of working with professor Pondei spoke to Sataya Reporters about working with him. The actress said “Prof is a method actor, he throws himself into the role and hardly breaks character”. Nigerians and the rest of the world got to witness this genius in action, in a performance that made Denzel Washington scream “MAD O”. The professor, while at the NDDC took it as another Nollywood role, hence the performance before the house committee on NDDC. The fainting performance has been praised as one of the best performances by any actor of African origin. The actor, turned professor, or professor turned actor was only able to break character when a mob of fans in the house rushed him, begging and screaming for autographs. The commossion only stopped when the chairman of the hearing yelled “cut”.
